Today I found out about Hexley The Platypus, the "unofficial" secret "Darwin OS" mascot
Hexley is the mascot for Apple's open source operating system Darwin.
All current Apple Operating System originated from Darwin.
According to Apple, Hexley is not an officially sanctioned logo for Darwin.
Way way back in the day, I tried running Darwin without the macOS GUI on top of it. It was really interesting, and I remember liking the mascot very much.
Apple would probably shy away from that now, for fear of being associated with demons.
