Today I saw One Battle After Another. I liked it. It felt like a Tarantino movie, but it is not.

One Battle After Another is a Terminator 2 remake. I enjoyed it. My dad did not.

Send Help looked stressful to me.

Last movie I saw in theaters was Iron Lung. My kids appreciated it more than I did, because they'd played the game and knew the YouTuber. But I liked that it was something different.

If you've ever had a bad boss, I think you will enjoy Send Help.

I just watched this movie. Excellent. Not your typical Jackie Chan movie at all. If you enjoy movies like Liam Neeson's Taken, you may enjoy this.

Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein is a masterpiece.

I was intrigued with this one, wondering what Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan were going to do together.
but Jackie wasn't really instrumental in solving the main plot, he just beats up Pierce's goons the whole movie not getting anywhere.

I have such mixed feelings on Jackie Chan, mostly because he has become a total PRC government shill, and I lived in Taiwan.

Just got back.

Very much recommend if you haven’t seen it yet.

Oh yeah, Sinners was the bomb. Nice to see both Sinners (all-time nominations record, only won four) and Frankenstein do well at the Oscars.

I was really impressed with Sinners. I heard it was good, but I had no idea what I was in for. I didn’t even see a trailer for it.

All I knew were three points:

  1. Michael B. Jordan

  2. Good reviews

  3. Vampires

Being a fan of vampire movies, believing that Michael B. Jordan is a very good actor, and knowing it got very good reviews, I was interested. But during the movie more than once I realized "Oh, the movie's even better?"

Sinners is like "From Dusk Till Dawn" meets "Killers of the Flower Moon."
