Is that the hissing of air out of an AI bubble?

Post by Geesie »

Anyone think this is connected to Anthropic and SpaceGrokX rushing to get an IPO to get that last chunk of cash to stretch the bubble out longer?

Speaking of which

I wish there was an easy way to buy the market while excluding specific companies.

I am so ready for the hype train to finally derail, because there are some cool applications for AI/machine learning, and it'd be nice to see those turned into real tools and not grift machines. I'm running a FastKoko (Kokoro) TTS at home to help with my writing, and I also use generative AI to create character models for stories, so I don't have to rely on my memory several chapters/weeks later.
