Yikes, that really is a chunky boi. Funnily enough I’ve temporarily taken my old PowerBook 1400 (the one I had in the early days of the MAF) out of retirement. I’m using it to write my memoir

Ahhh yes, the G3 AIO, aka the ugliest Mac ever. That said as an Aussie if I had the opportunity I’d still pick one up given they were only sold in US/Canada, and only to education customers

I was cleaning out my office tonight and went back in to snap this pic of old tech. I am not close to done sorting. In this corner I have a 2015 iMac running Bunsen labs Linux a bondi blue iMac with original OS a Molar Mac (G3 AIO) some random CRT monitor and a Apple IIe. I can't bear to toss this stuff but feel so bad its just around doing nothing.

I really miss how cool those iMacs looked. Not like modern computers, which look like tools.

I’ve taken to vintage stuff recently. I recapped/revived two Mac Plusses that I had in my basement, then repaired a pair of IIsi’s that needed some work.

I ended up setting up and maxing out a QS G4 tower my dad had, which is a very nice OS9 machine. Especially after you add a SATA card and m.2 SSD, etc. I actually use it for Adobe Illustrator and Finale.

I’m in the middle of building a Plus/ITX project right now, but it’s competing for time with a couple other projects I’m working on.
