My two new foster cats

These are "Biscuits" and "Gravy" - I didn't name them, the rescue did. Five month old females, siblings, very interesting genetics.

They have been spayed/vaccinated/chipped but they are not well socialized with people yet, that's my job, to prepare them for adoption. I just got them on Monday.

Biscuits is the seal point, with charcoal-gray where she isn't white. Gravy is all charcoal gray. Biscuits would probably look like Gravy except Biscuits has two copies of the Seal Point allele.

Biscuits is more socialized than Gravy but both still do not tolerate being held, a problem for adoption...they do let me pet them but only when they are in the cat house. Biscuits will play with me with the cat toys, as long as I do not try to touch her. Gravy I can tell longs to play but isn't ready yet.

This sounds weird, but taking a nap on the bathroom floor helps because when I'm asleep, they sneak out and sniff me. I steam-cleaned the bathroom floor before taking them in but it still sounds gross, I know, but hopefully soon they can be moved into my bedroom.

I could never foster cats. I'd wind up with a million cats.
