It's a photoshop clone. Older photoshop, but when I say clone, I mean it. It can even open .psd files. And it's free.

Looks interesting, might have to try it. I still have my G5 I bought in 2013 for $50 with the free Adobe CS2 that they gave away a few years back, its old but it still suits my needs on the odd occasion I need to do image editing.

Better than GIMP?
Define "better". If you know Photoshop, you'll feel at home. I have GIMP. I do not like it. Maybe because everything is in a different place with a different name? Perhaps I never made the effort to learn it properly, but GIMP is limiting to me. I also have an old version of Pixelmator. It's also weird but more Mac-like, so I like it a bit better than GIMP. But I prefer this Photopea version because I used Photoshop for the longest time; I just don't have Photoshop anymore and would NOT pay a subscription even if I could.
