How South Koreans make corndogs.

The care and patience required to HANDmake these can be admired. I am not as certain as the author of this link that I would be willing to try them if I ever got the chance.

(I hate LatinAutor - UMPG)

A nice Terminator fan film made entirely by editing clips from existing movies.

coolest looking useless scam ever, an open air filter? and why would it have a light? to look "cool"?

but, they do have this image on their website

No explanation about it. I guess it's just a full head cover for the same system. And I believe they only taking pre-orders. Don't get one, until you see 2 or 3 different reviews of the shipping product.

No peripheral vision…wouldn’t wear that hoodshit.

That looks like it should be featured alongside all the other overpriced, largely useless crap in The Sharper Image catalog. It might actually "work", in the sense of creating a small zone of positive pressure around your mouth and nose, but almost any turbulence is going to screw that up. Oh, and you get to look like a dork from the future.

Commercials from Japan for Twin Peaks Georgia Coffee.

This series of four commercials were directed by David Lynch in 1993 (so just after the movie "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me"), and featured many of the actors and music from Twin Peaks.

In New Zealand a kea took off with a GoPro camera. It spent some time trying to tearing the camera apart--apparently being successful sometimes--before the camera's owner caught up with the bird.

Just to let uki know, but as far as I know Twin Peaks Georgia Coffee was NEVER a product in the US market. My post was more about the plain weirdness of such commercials for Japan that usually never get seen by US audiences. This was part of "Lost in Translation": Bob Harris (Bill Murray) is in Japan to make commercials for Suntory Whiskey for a $2 M paycheck. Part of Harris' contract was that these commercials are never to be aired in the US.

OK, yeah, I've seen many weird japan only commercials with hollywood celebrities. But as someone who liked the new twin peaks and is subscribed to David Lynch on youtube, I would buy that coffee if I could.

The PowerMac 6100 crash sound is by far my fav.

Not even duct tape will fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Video tweet: crossing guard police officer pulls student out of the way of car, getting hit by that car.

She was sent to a hospital and was released following treatment. The student was uninjured. The driver of that car was given multiple citations.

"Assignment: Earth, the Star Trek spin off that never happened.

The first video at the link tells the history of Roddenberry's attempt to make another SF TV series though placed in current times, and then when NBC declined to make it, "Assignment: Earth" became a backdoor pilot as the last episode in the second year of TOS.

There is a copy of that full episode (though I expect that eventually it will be taken down).

The third video is a fan-made commercial made in the style of show promos of that time.

that's more believable than the flying car, and looks more fun, and only slightly less dangerous if it falls deep enough into the water

My latest video. I've been having some wicked bad latency issues with OBS, so I recorded this on my iPhone. Enjoy.

They made a new Firestaters movie, and the trailer feels like a Marvel's movie trailer, and that's wrong.

They even call it a "Stephen King’s classic thriller", so it should NOT feel like that.
