Email listservs

Post by Malkin »

I help run a club. For years we used TinyLetter to send emails and it worked great. Then Mailchimp bought TinyLetter. Mailchimp was way more complicated than what we needed, but it still worked.

Well today I find out that Mailchimp has limited its free plan to 250 contacts. We have closer to 350. So I need a new solution.

On other listservs I've been involved with, there are issues with some people being successful with Google Groups. (Google is blocked at a lot of workplaces.)

Anyone have recommendations on what to try or look into? Doesn't need to be fancy. Does need to be free. Ideally it would allow sending, but no group replies. So I guess more of a newsletter.

It's what I use for my car clubs.

I need to reconsider though, as I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be and I don't know whether I need DKIM, DMARC, or what, but often times the emails get rejected by the recipients' mail servers.

Your powers are useless! I'm wearing my tinfoil underwear!
