iPhone Duo

Post by ConnertheCat »

… Anyone getting one? Anyone even interested?

I like the new Pro phone color (the reddish purple).

Can’t, but wouldn’t if I could. I don’t hate it, It’s just not for me. But Apple’s foldable does look better than the competition, not by much, and also costs more than the competition, again, not my much. You get Apple build quality and iOS.

$2000 still doesn't make sense even if you think about it as an iPhone and iPad mini.

iPhone 17 (256GB): $899 + iPad mini starts at $599 = basically $1500

Add A20 Pro Chip + Apple's foldable screen hardware + Software specifically for it

Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Base, 256GB): $1,899.99, runs android

The Apple iPhone Duo does make all the sense in the world, but yes, it is very expensive.

It is, in my opinion, an "if you like it and can afford it, get it". Only reason to get it.

For this, and everything in life, if you need to ask "why you need it", you DO NOT.

Me, personally, I do not need it, I do not immediately want it, but I like it.

Literally no use for it.
I still want them to bring back the SE format.

I'm hoping that we can get a new smaller form factor device within the next 5 years.
