Orion Browser

Post by ukimalefu »

Trying the Orion Browser. I discovered yesterday. I have a 16" Intel MacBook Pro with macOS 26.

All I can say so far is that it works. Importing bookmarks took a long time.

The "add image to post" link here does not seem to work. I had to upload the screenshot on my Helium browser

Orion Browser is from Kagi.

I use Kagi and I love Kagi. It's the first search engine that I actually found seems to outperform Google. I very rarely use Google for anything other than YouTube at this point(and sometimes vanity searches when I'm working to get rid of sites containing my personal information).

I've always considered Orion really interesting. It has some really good ideas, and tons of features, but I REALLY want my tabs vertical and on the right side.

This Orion browser has tabs on the left, don't know if you can move them to the other side

I'm liking the Orion Browser. Only on the second day, and I am considering making it my main browser.

If you haven't tried their search engine, I really recommend it. Kagi is a different kind of search engine, and their results actually seem more relevant than Google's now.
