There you have it! The wisdom of the ages.

Whenever someone answers their cell phone in the restroom, I have this insane urge to flush everything and keep them flushing during the call.

I know guy who has no problem with that.

I, on the other hand, do have a problem with that.

Here's a stupid question: Does 3G affect voice quality in phone calls at all, or is it just a data thing?

Just data. The good thing about 3G is you can be using the internet and still get phone calls - currently, edge makes it impossible to get a call.

Rarely do I see a Blackberry user on BIS using one out in the wild for personal use.

Any chance you would be coming up here to Okotoks?
It seems that the three most popular phones here are the Pearl and the HTC Touch among the teens, and the Curve for the adults.

That only means that the people in Okotoks have more dollars than sense.

Actually, that's true.
asofar I've seen:
10 Minis
3 Hummers
6 Mercedes -Benzes
1 Antique Porsche
5 SmartCars, one Roadster import
1 Lotus Elise

and that's pretty much all off the top of my head.

Damn, I'm lucky if I see anything exciting 'round these parts. Well, aside from the hummer bit that shouldn't be on the list. You could/can get a brand new one of those for under 20k…

Yeah, southern California is the land of cars. My parents were staying in Laguna Beach last weekend for my graduation, and each time I went over there to hang out with them I would see like 5 Ferraris and a Lambo or two.

HEY! I see what you did there! You're trying to make me forget that I'm demanding the iPod specs by distracting me with cars and old dial phones.

So far the only thing you people have confirmed for me is that it will come with wipeable dust. What the hell kind of feature is that anyway?

Come on, out with it!

God, that was terrible.
As a positive, though, I think it taught a generation of people to use keyboard shortcuts instead of mousing around everywhere.

Photoshop did that to me. I always thought it was extra-stupid that TV shows always show people editing photos by banging on their keyboard until I tried it myself, and holy crap can you speed things up doing it like that.
