Siri still sux after how many years of dev???!!!

Post by wellfleation »

I use google home but a couple of times recently I reached for my iPhone when out of the distance of my Google Home and asked simple human waste that it got really wrong/was NO HELP. Example: I asked Siri "How old is John Hannah of the New England Patriots?" Siri comes back with, "Here's what I've found on the web about the New England Patriots", or some similar bs. I walked over to my Google Home and ask the exact same question the exact same way and it immediately says, "John Hannah of the New England Patriots is 69 years old".
THANK YOU! WTF Apple? Is this that hard for you? Apparently so. Apple can't get this human waste right after how many years?! Unreal, Steve would be wasted!

I believe that it's not that they can't, I believe they haven't tried, they don't care.

I mean, they make fun of Siri in every talk show, all around the internet, and there's no improvement.

I understand you can use google assistant and alexa on the iphone. How does that work?

Google Assistant and Alexa generally work extremely well.

Siri is their developmentally disabled sister.

For the things I use Siri for, everything works great. Smart home stuff, turning things on an off, setting an ac temperature, texting people, adding stuff to my calendar, math or conversions, etc. But to answer questions like that, she’s definitely lacking.

I hate Siri so much I refuse to use Apple Home. I'm totally Google smart home Nest thing and it works flawlessly.

The cameras I have installed work best with Alexa, while everything else I have work with Google Home. Nest, and a few smart bulbs.

I have no Apple products in this house.

That will work fine until google gets bored, decides to quit that business, and ends support.
