Ok sooo...

Harry McCracken reports on a lot of audio recorded Apple and computing history In a FastCompant piece that is summarized by this:
In May 1982, the BCS hosted Applefest, an Apple II-centric fair that featured already-iconic Apple cofounders Jobs and Wozniak as keynote speakers. In this excerpt, fielding a question from the audience, they talk about software copy protection. Woz does so from a technical bent; Jobs, who speaks of a future involving low prices and convenient electronic distribution, sounds like he was thinking about the App Store decades before it appeared.

Marcy Wheeler (now living in Ireland)
I've grown increasingly critical of Apple products over the years.

But ... opening a new Apple box still produces inordinate joy.

Also, The Boxes Are Bigger in Ireland.

Safari 14 is out.

Crossing fingers I'll have fewer kernel panics with this one.

I’m actually pretty interested in the fitness app. I wouldn’t buy it on its own, but we already pay for Apple Music Family and iCloud.
