it still sucks

the latest problem is that its gatling gun is inaccurate, but there are still a ton of problems, including structural cracking, endless software glitches and oh yeah vulnerabilities to hacking

they're just barely fixing problems faster than they find new ones, but it's a close race

not quite 500 have been delivered, but they're nowhere near operational and will all require massive repairs, refits and refurbishment in order to fly missions

in other words, still a hell of a mess

Building a one-size-fits-all military aircraft is one of the stupidest strategies ever devised.

I am sure they will figure out how to add some rocket to it so they can then modify even more so it can quality for the space farce.
be some real good money it in.
The military always seems to come back to the one size fits all because it sells well the general public. The public doesn't realize or conveniently forgets prior similar debacles. They're getting two for the price of one after all ;)

Sure it'll be fixed. Just as soon as the budget exceeds the price of two separate aircraft developments.

it's already cost many times what it took to develop, say, the f-18
