Mozilla stick fiddled up big time by allowing a critical cert to expire causeing extensions to stop working. If you have this problem go into FF prefs/security and privacy, scroll down and allow studies.
This will download a temp fix to this issue. Restart FF and things should be back to normal.

I had to wait for the "skip ads" in Youtube.
The Economist was cutting off the articles.
But everything got fixed and things are back to normal now.
