Did your Firefox extensions disappear?

Post by Pariah »

Mozilla stick fiddled up big time by allowing a critical cert to expire causeing extensions to stop working. If you have this problem go into FF prefs/security and privacy, scroll down and allow studies.
This will download a temp fix to this issue. Restart FF and things should be back to normal.

I temporarily just ran the nightly channel, as that has a config that allows it to run unsigned extensions.

I have to leave my FF open for about six hours before it picked up the fix.

I read it could take that long but for me FF picked up the fix instantly.

Weird.

Mine did.

For a day I saw how ads cluttered the screen. I had no idea it had got so bad.

I had to wait for the "skip ads" in Youtube.

The Economist was cutting off the articles.

But everything got fixed and things are back to normal now.
