"China will attempt 30-plus launches in 2019, including crucial Long March 5 missions".

The Long March 5 is China's heavy-lifter first stage which failed during its second launch in 2017. The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) says they have corrected the turbopump problem which caused the 2017 failure. Fixing the Long March 5 is crucial for launching their proposed lunar lander which would return with samples, and for launching modules for the proposed new Chinese space station.

The CASC says that it will put into orbit over 50 spacecraft although it did not list which projects would be involved with multiple craft in the same launch.

The CASC had 37 launches in 2018, all successful.
