First it was IBM making processors for Apple

Then it was Intel

iTunes an iPods and iPhones for Windows

and don't forget boot camp

And now this

You’ll also be able to buy and rent content from iTunes directly from the TV. The content will be available through a dedicated app which will debut exclusively on Samsung’s TVs. The TVs will also include support for AirPlay 2, Apple’s wireless streaming standard.

Satan must really hate Apple, they keep freezing hell over and over again.

One of these days they're gonna put iMessage and Facetime on android.

If Apple is going to transition to a services company they need to expand the number of devices their services run on.

I'd be happier if I could mirror to my Samsung TV in a turnkey manner without a separate app.

Yes. I would actually be willing to pay for Facetime and iMessage clients for my Android device. At the moment, there is no way in hell I would pay the premium for a new iPhone for those features, so I am not a factor in Apple's profits, but if they were made available, I'd be interested.

Honestly it might be worth it. I'm pretty sure Android will allow you to replace the messages app outright. I already pay for Blackberry Hub services so if it was worth it an imessages subscription wouldn't be a stretch.

Though it took blackberry to dip it's toes into it's deathbed before it opened up BB messenger to other platforms. Not sure how long Apple will wait.

Sony is also supporting airplay 2 and homekit.

By the way, only Samsung TVs will have iTunes.

Also, when using the apple apps, apple is making the tv manufacturers block all tracking.
