2021 isn’t so great either
My 33 year old neighbor went to sleep and didn’t wake up, and one of my older neighbors fell asleep at the wheel and got in an accident. He broke his neck. They gave him 30% chance of surviving. I’m afraid to ask what’s next.

Maybe the theory that we are all living in a Matrix like simulation, controlled by aliens
on another dimensional plane, is right. That would explain a lot.
That being said, yep, 2021 is off to just being "2020, the Sequel".

The game Civilization VI has an apocalypse mode, where the game increasingly throws disaster after disaster at you until the world is annihilated. We might be at the lead up to that.
