oh no

Believe it or not, I think of him more as Indiana Jones father.
I've seen a few of his Bond movies, but he wasn't my first Bond.

Best Bond scene ever is early in Dr. No where he has the shoe in a game of Chemin De Fer, Sylvia Trench asks his name and he delivers his classic line as he lights his cigarette.

Honor Blackman. She also played the role of Catherine Gale in The Avengers, before Diana Rigg as Emma Peel. I don't think those episodes were ever broadcast on American television.
Mr. Connery will be missed.

My first memory of seeing Connery in film was a TV broadcast of The Man who Would be King. I suspect I was somewhere between 10 and 12 year old and didn't quite get it but found both he and Michael Caine enjoyable.
Now, earlier than that, my buddy had a toy car (Corgi) that was some type of weird moon buggy with some guy in it --no helmet but with jacket and tie. We thought it was pretty bizarre and random. Only years later did I realize it was merchandising from Corgi's James Bond toys with the buggy from Diamonds Are Forever.

And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

I remember reading about how they showed up to set and he told the director his character was going to have a ponytail in that movie.
The visuals don't hold up.

Ryan, be careful. Most things in here don't react well to bulletsh.
I'm currently watching The Hunt for Red October.
