We had mid 60s this past weekend.
30+ degrees above the average.
So far this month we haven't had a day below average, and all but two or three have been 5-10 above.

in australia, scientists warned of drought and severe wildfires for ten years, and were ignored

in canada, scientists have warned, for years, of drought and severe wildfires, plus unstable weather, in alberta for years -- and have been ignored

indeed alberta is ground zero for climate denial in this country

fun fact: canada is warming three times faster than anywhere else in the world

Half-way through winter and not a spot of snow on the ground here in Reno. This has never happened before.

Snow storms are forecasted to hit the East Coast later in the week.

I wonder if any congress critters are going to make a snowball to show that global warming is a hoax. Their fans loved that schtick.

I thought this was gonna be about the beer. :D
Anyways I gassed up my car. I'll have to gas up again next week.

I have a 6 pack of beer sitting in the snowbank... that’s inside my mudroom. THANKS WINDSTORM.

I have a guy coming to shovel the snow off my ship’s roof because it’s at risk of collapsing.

We are currently at close to 22 feet of snowfall at the ski hill, so ballpark somewhere around 15 ish feet fallen in town so far I’d guess. I don’t know where to put any snow I get cleared now, my entire yard is at least up to my main floor windows.

I’ve given up shovelling the driveway. In the summer, I can park three cars wide but right now we have space for our car, and the rest of the space is just... snow.

It looks like our cold snap is going to be over by tomorrow, now comes the snow again.

Still over 10 degrees above normal here. I am fearful that the trees might start budding.

Days like today and yesterday feel like the type of day we would get in mid March--and we would celebrate the mild weather--and usually soon get a wallop of cold and snow soonafter.

It's really strange.

Very windy today, apparently the weather is changing and we will have 28/15 tomorrow followed by a snow storm the next day where temps will be right at the freezing mark--sounds like a load of wet heavy stuff.

I think the chart means historical range. An average would be just a single line.

Average high and average low.
I don't know what methodology they used for that dotted line so I just ignored it. I'm going to guess it's the median range of temperatures for that stretch of days.

I was wrong, according to the very scientific stick in the public works yard, we are only just now at 11 feet of snow, so I guess I’m complaining for nothing.

We’re getting about another foot or foot and a half tonight. Then back to the deep freeze.
