For the most part there is not much to report, Indiana and Ohio are not very scenic but once we hit WVA that changed. A seriously beautiful state and I was charmed by Charlottesville as we drove past. It looks like a city out of stories with homes climbing way up the surrounding mountains. I want to go visit for a weekend sometime.
WVA might be an economic and political train wreck but...damn if it ain't beautiful. All the deep valleys and hollers with small roads twisting up them made it feel like a land full of secret places. Very intriguing.
Driving the hilly, twisty turny highway was an experience for a flat-lander like me but in a fun way. Then once we began the long down hill out of the mountain to the coast my ears were popping like crazy. I think we went from around 3000ft to basically sea-level in 100 miles.
All in all a good trip. The motel6 we stayed at was brand new with the most comfortable motel bed I have ever slept on and a good family style restaurant sharing the parking lot for some good comfort food.
I haven't gotten out much here but so far seems like a nice area. The few people I have met have been really friendly and good humored, not like the fake friendly you get in OK.
So far, so good.

Not even duct tape will fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.
