The peak of the Quadrantids meteor shower is tonight. Best time is 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST for the Americas. This is a short-lived shower with a narrow peak, only a few hours wide. From the Americas we'll get a weak shower since we are facing the wrong direction. Asia might see 100 meteors and hour at peak.

From the Space.com article:
According to the "Observer's Handbook" of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, the peak this year is predicted to come at around 0300 GMT on Friday, Jan. 4, which is good for Europe and areas east into Central Asia, where 60 to 120 meteors per hour are expected under ideal conditions.

Cloudy and rainy conditions last night ruined the chance of viewing it at home.
Clear skies here but I only saw one meteor I could say was probably from the Quadrantids

I'd like to request that this show take place earlier. My bed time keeps interfering.

Damnit, now I have Trifids in my backyard.
Oh, sure, don't include Asia in your fancy map. :P

Not that I could get away from light pollution in Taiwan. Maybe at the top of a mountain or on the east coast, but I doubt it!
