We have had a lot of loss around here so I thought I would tell a little, happy story.
Around about 6 months ago my old Penni started getting lame. I had let her get a little fat. I talked to my sister about Penni (Sis is the family expert on dogs).
I put Penni on a diet, put her on a daily dose of Dasuquin and she improved to a point. Last month my Sister took her to a vet that seems along the lines of a dog chiropractor, but not in a nutty way. She gave Penni a massage and and adjustment along with a prescription for an anti-inflammatory.
I should say Penni had also gotten a good exam with xrays at a regular vet, to rule out any mechanical problems or cancers.
Penni is now doing great. Loosing weight, the Dasuquin and the massages and adjustments and the new pain stuff has rejuvenated her.
Today she was running around and being silly as a puppy, going and grabbing toys out of the toy box, even playing with Chico a bit.
Delightful.

The wheel has been turning here. More grief than usual. Me a part of that.
I say: Look for your victories. Find something...anything to keep you going.
