Well, Wyn and Elara are definitely looking pregnant now. They should both have their babies sometime next weekend if all goes to plan.

Also...

We got some new boys yesterday for future mating plans. They're descended from our old shaded lines so their great-great-great-........great-great-grandfather is my old boy Rom. They should help to ensure that the babies from future Siamese litters have lovely dark points.

I forgot to update a while back to say that Elara wasn't pregnant in the end and sadly Wyn failed to birth live babies. :(

On a happier note, we mated Teal'c and Elara again and this afternoon Elara gave birth to 7 wiggly little babies. It looks like there are 2 boys and 5 girls. :D

Sadly neither Elara or Feelz had any babies, but we mated up Elara's daughters Dia and Tribble a few weeks ago. Dia had her babies last night (haven't counted yet but we think she had a whopping 19 babies :eek: ), and Tribble is in the process of birthing her babies. :D

Dia had 21 babies (although one didn't make it) and Tribble had 14 babies. We've effectively doubled the number of rats we have overnight. :eek:

Since I’m not allowed to have pets Yoris rats are the next best thing, a big buncha cuties they are :)

Funny, the pregnant rats don’t look that big, they carry there litter very well :shrug:
