The Bad Astronomer on "the most detailed full image of MU69":

This is a mosaic combining 9 short-exposure images taken by New Horizons when it was about as close as it was going to get to MU69. The Sun was almost directly behind New Horizons so given MU69's axis of rotation this image shows the "skipping stones" almost flat.
