it's mighty pretty all right

i was just reading that it's both turbocharged and supercharged, and if that wasn't enough it's also a plug-in hybrid

supposedly it shovels out 400 hp

Huh. There's a regular customer at work who would cream himself at seeing that. Dude's got an AMC tattoo. Won't use his last name in official correspondence because it's "Ford." :lol:

This is L. Brad King's prototype of a ferrofluid ion thruster. When subjected to voltage, the points of the crown rise from a ring-shaped trench circling a one-inch block of aluminum. Ions shooting from the points create enough thrust to power a micro rocket.

I'm slightly familiar with ferrofluids. I wasn't aware any used a solvent that could survive vacuum. Cool use for them though.
