She. Only the females do this.

Ticks suck blood to feed, not just to reproduce. They're not mosquitoes.

Had to confirm that. That's another old wive's tale I still believed.

Nice that they're measuring something as quantifiable as "happiness."

How the hell does one know if a Mainer is happy or not? (Or Swiss for that matter?)

They all seem the same flat mood 24/7.

Yeah, we've got those stoic Norwegians around here. Which reminds me of a joke:

Lena says to Ole, "Ole, honey, you never say 'I love you' to me, why is that?"

To which Ole replies, "Lena, I told you once. If I change my mind, I'll let you know."

I'd believe that Asheville is happy. It's about the only place in NC that I would choose to move to ATM.

I'm amazed he successfully stopped in time on a rain slick road.
and yeah, uki. If I'd been the driver of the car.
I'd want to go over and strangle the jerk in the cab of the green truck for driving too fast for the road conditions.

Oh, wait. Beer.

A smallish town in a beautiful location with a low cost of living and practically unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreation inside a one hour drive from town. Hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, on and off road bicycling, if you like being outdoors North Eastern Wi is a stick fiddling paradise.
I wouldn't mind living in Green Bay at all.
