(nothin' personal Seamas. 100K is a LOT of money to me. )

It's a lot of money to me too, but for a home of the quality I am referring, in the areas I am talking about; a total outlay of $130K is more than reasonable. I could easily see the finished product being resold for 300-400K

$350 gets you about a 1500 sq ft around here.

You didn't link that to the post which explains this. Basically this (with 14 other collections of movie posters) shows how often movie poster makers rely upon clichés. The caption for this one is:
Yikes. Clearly the enormous, looming eye is mostly for horror films.

Note the "mostly" which explains the inclusion of "Bionic Woman" and "Avatar" (and maybe others which I do not recognize) here.

My question:

How the hell would you know that you could do that?

That answer is likely NSFW.

I had a girlfriend whose brother would take the gold chain from around his neck and do that.

The fridge in my HS biology teacher's office looked just like that during hunting season.

He made extra cash doing taxidermy. During out tests he'd pull out some sort of dead thing and start taking it apart. He was cool, he always told us to bring in any decent looking roadkill and he'd dissect it for the class. His classroom also contained aquariums where flesh eating maggots would clean the bones off. He also had a widow's peak and slightly fang-like canine teeth.
