Birds, snakes and several other critters excrete uric acid rather than urea. That's what colors the water white.

Every few years someone will hook a big sturgeon at Sturgeon Point at the mouth of the the Nottawasaga River near here. I cannot rcall the last one I read about in the local paper but I remember hesring rumours of sturgeon over 300lb when I was young enough to believe such stories. It seems to me there have been a couple in the 130-150lb range in the last 15-20 years. I can only imagine the work it would take to land a fish that big. A 1300lb+ shark is far more than I would care to tackle. These days I think I'd throw up from the effort to land a discarded tire

in all honesty just reading that took more effort than i'd care to admit

No, it's a proper tablet app, and it supports the Wacom digitiser and stylus on the Galaxy Note, which is pressure-sensitive.

Aw, you need to link to the stupid article about that silly big-eyed picture. At least the artist says that some of the changes will be due to direct genetic manipulation, but it seems to me that the reasoning behind these changes is odd: we would choose to re-make people rather than use machines to compensate for different environments?
