Replace the material slightly, and this is pretty much why I (would've) flunked Electromagnetic Fields and Waves the first time. The rest involves a PhD grad student from Romania who didn't speak English well, didn't like facing the class, and whose ability to write tests was nil.

Thankfully, after getting a 44% on the first exam (which I found out later would have given me a high B), I decided to drop that course like a hot potato. I tried again the next semester with a full professor.

EM was fun. The above chalk board looks more like nuclear physics though I'm guessing there. Lots of vectors and difeq

I bet the prof took all morning to write that out ahead of class.

I bet that's Richard Feynman.

That is pretty much what the movie was about. It was an interesting film.

I don't get that one. If its somehow a parody on those states, they're not remotely close to accurate.

No, it's each state, renamed after the foreign country that it's closest to in terms of GDP.

(I cheated and used GIS.)

i assumed that's what it was

which makes some of them quite horrifying ... for instance bangladesh has 150 million people but a gdp equivalent to new hampshire

UV does damage to lots of things, though I was unaware of this particular issue. Wine is much the same. Keep it out of sunlight too.

A friend of mine likes to demonstrate this using his own homemade beers, doing something similar to what is described in that article. He will open a bottle (of dark brown glass, of course), pour about half each into two identical clear glasses, put one on a sunlit window sill and the other into a darkened area like a cupboard, wait about 15 minutes, then have people take a whiff from the light-protected glass first before smelling the light-exposed one: the skunky smell will be evident for most people even in that short amount of time.

I find your choice of drinks exceedingly strange.

But tell me, what does bear taste like?
