Not that there's anything wrong with the current guy, but I'd really love to see the Doctor played by an actor who is over 45 again.

Jason Statham or Ray Winstone would be interesting choices too.

Yes, a female Doctor is past due and she would be excellent.

I'll throw in some more:

Peter Capaldi, aka "Malcolm Tucker"
Nigel Bennett
Thomas Craig

From the original article which posted the map, the surveyors meant "[h]ere are straight people who either have had or would like to have a same-sex experience".

BUT...it is a completely valueless map. There is no mention in that article if the map represents a percentage of overall participants per geographic district or if these are the number of positive respondents or ANYTHING. For all we might know the reddest parts of that map represent zones where there were just 10 (or more) positive responses and the blue ones, 1 or 0 positive responses.

Now immediately above this map they detail a survey result showing that of straight people about 23% have had a same-sex encounter and that another 11% who haven't would like to. Given this I would sincerely doubt the extreme lowball case that I gave in the last sentence in the paragraph immediately above, but there are simply no details for this map which is very odd considering how otherwise numbers-rich the article is.
