Yeah, that's about what I think about those cars, too.

That isn't that weird. It's a paint for computer restorers who don't trust Retrobright.

The Corgi's are awesome. I had a friend who's parents (well okay, it was his mom, and I assure you it was not his Dad, who couldn't have cared less) had a pair of Corgi's and they were the worst dogs on the planet. Nothing really ever made you want to like them, which is sad for a dog.

I loved the Wallstreet Powerbooks when I had one, but having seen one again just a few years ago, it felt insanely bulky.

I used to have that Wallstreet poster on my wall.

Lady Liberty, from the top

For a couple seconds, I thought the hair looked like a brain.

According to the source:

A rare view of the Statue of Liberty from the balcony on its torch. The exit there has been closed since 1916.

I believe the kids say "thicc" these days.

I have a couple framed iMac poster, but they're in storage. Should probably clean them up and add them to the wall of mounted circuit boards in my mancave office.

It’s neat how the curve under the front makes the whole thing look thinner. That old obsession.

I had one of those (Amstrad CPC464). Amazing little 8-bit computer with so much untapped power. Some of the things people are getting it to do these days are amazing (including a port of Pinball Dreams from the Amiga, and this amazing looking racing game).

This demo is also worth a watch.

For info, the specs of the machine:

CPU: Z80A @ 4 MHz
RAM: 64/128K
Sound: AY-3-8912 (3 channels of square waves and/or noise)
Graphics: 160x200x16, 320x200x4, 640x200x2 (from a palette of 27 colours), Motorola 6845 CRTC combined with a custom gate array. The CRTC could be reprogrammed to remove overscan horizontally and/or vertically to allow for portrait mode resolutions or full-screen graphics and the screen mode and palette could be changed part-way down the screen.
