Probably a string of profanities, if my memory of the movie is correct

I think it's pretty cool. "Not that I would do it".
BTW uki, that isn't supposed to be an "American Eagle". It's a Phoenix, a "Firebird".

I think that "American" comment was more related to the car not being an American car, where the Pontiac was an American car.

Yeah. I felt that he was implying that the graphic shouldn't be used on a non-American car because it represented an "American Eagle".
It's not an Eagle. It's a Firebird. (IMHO)

Not only is that not a trans-am, it's not even an american car, it's an electric BMW.

But it doesn't look bad... not that I would do it, it's just wrong, but it doesn't look bad...

*What Would Smokey Say

There is a guy in my town (vanity plate: BANDIT) who has a black '77 trans am with all the appointments. It takes me back to 6th grade when I thought that car was THE coolest car (other than the real Batmobile) ever.

Ikea has teamed up with Pizza Hut Hong Kong to make the Säva, a table that looks like pizza savers inside pizza boxes:

Image

The Säva comes in a box that resembles a pizza box and includes in its assembly instructions calling Pizza Hut in Hong Kong to order a pizza. There is a vimeo video but you can skip it. It just features a rather snooty French-sounding voice gushing about the design.

I had an Atari 800XL with an external 5.25" floppy drive in high school, and it was a cool machine, but I traded it for a Franklin Apple IIe clone so that I could use the software in the school library at home.

It's an old ad, so I'm gonna say... probably at some point in the future a web browser gained the ability to travel back in time just to be able to eat more memory.

Pedantic or not, the IIgs shows the general direction Apple was heading in. The Mac was technically superior in many ways, but the IIgs retained a lot of the openness people expected from the Apple II.

That could be a screensaver. It reminds me of the flying toasters.
