This was one of my favorite games.

Did you finish it and mail in for the patch?

No, but I used to have a wall of polaroids to document my "world records."

My wife turned around from playing The Sims just long enough to say, "That's diesel." Women aren't as stupid as men think they are.

Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out.

It's a symbol as well as a building. As a building it might be considered pretty. As a symbol it is quite something else. Not to get too far into the church and its symbols of power and servitude and false promises and waste etc, I guess the idea is to see the lost prettiness for some appropriate length and then maybe get into the symbolism. Both sides.

The main artwork of this Cathedral--like many of the high Gothic style would have been the architecture itself--and the fanciful relief and sculpture along its columns, etc and the ornate stained glass roses in the apses.

Cathedrals of this type would not have the large murals on walls and ceilings, which became more typical in the Renaissance.

While I can imagine there were numerous paintings within this cathedral (I have never visited), the most important items (as far as value and historic value) would have been the stained glass, the bells, Cathedral bells are unbelievably expensive, I think some were just recently re-cast at enormous cost.

Another extremely valuable item is the pipe organ.
And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

The cathedral survived, though not unscathed. The entire attic and roof are gone, as well as several sections of the inner ceiling.

BTW: 'Firefighters have developed their own vernacular for such spectacles. They call them "CNN drops."'

Basically while air drops of water/fire-retardant might have a TINY effect upon wildfires--better than nuthin', right?--during the time period when ground crews are preparing to do the nitty-gritty of actual fire fighting, those air drops serve little purpose other than being a drain upon the US Forestry Service budget for fire-suppression: about 20% or nearly $300 M from about $1.5 B
