This so WRONG. If only because it kills my fantasy. I always imagined going there would be like driving 3 hours in a 4x4, and then an additional 2 hours on a camel, at least that. But no, you probably just take the tourist tour bus from the hotel, get there in 20 minutes if there isn't much traffic, and eat at that KFC at the end of the day. And I bet the chicken nuggets aren't even pyramid shaped.

The pyramids are literally just outside the city of Giza.
There is a Marriott about 1/4 mile from the great Pyramid.
And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.
