Sometimes ideas pop into my mind out of nowhere
After a couple of hours of looking at Reddit:

Not even duct tape will fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

IIgs.
Also, that looks like a IIc. The IIgs didn't have an integrated keyboard.

There was something uniquely awesome about the boombox that hasn't really been recreated since. It wasn't the technology per se, as they rarely sounded all that great, but rather the sense of community that emerged around them. I have a lot of good memories of hanging out with buddies blasting AC/DC, GnR, etc. on a massive boombox that came up to our knees.

I recall entering Junior High school circa 1970/80 and it was not uncommon for kids to bring the boombox to school and blast music in the hallway between periods going from class to class. There was a southern rock boom and a fad where guys wore cowboy hats.
I recall one new kid who transferred in from some school in NYC (I think he moved live with grandma in the 'burbs). I had no clue what he was playing. Huge repetitive drums and a distinctive bass line and some guy pretty much talking rhyme over it. My first exposure to rap.
I also recall this guy would walk his girlfriend to class and pretty much got to second base when saying goodbye.

And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

Walking down the street with a friend blastin' the Hawaii-Five-O theme followed by Ice Cube's Death Certificate was the most fun you could ever have doing nothing.
Remember, people, to forgive is divine. In other words, it ain't human.
