Source only said "Soviet-era control rooms", with many pictures like that one.

The bread from that bakery must have been awesome.

Maybe.

But you have to remember that the same control room also made battleships, so there was the danger of ships with hulls with the consistency of cake, or bread loafs that could survive an impact of a 4-inch shell.

You might laugh, but there was a (probably apocryphal) tale about a Soviet-era refrigerator factory. According to that tale it got a shipment of tank armor, but instead of returning that steel shipment those refrigerators were duly made which had the bad habit of sinking into and sometimes punching holes through several floors in apartment buildings.

I thought it was part of Keith Emerson's stage rig.
And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

It is thought it served as a way to lighten the mood of soldier life, and to provide entertainment to tired and bored soldiers, a large majority of them heterosexual men starved of female company.
Sure it did.

I haven't watched it, but It's not been as well-received. The original seems like something that only come from a unique time and place in history.

"Disney’s ‘Captain Marvel’ accidentally advertises phone sex line":

Image

Well, you cannot see it in the above because all current versions of this pic had the blurry but readable phone number on the back wall of the phone booth Photoshopped out.

That phone number had been used by ABC in their cable show "The Suite Life of Zac and Cody". If you called it back then there were changing messages about kids programming on ABC. Apparently it had gotten onto a list of "approved" phone numbers in ABC which then got handed up to Disney.

But at some point between then and now ABC stopped paying for that number, and it was taken over by a phone sex line.

Now I want to see a clip of Deadpool reading those news, then laughing hysterically, and then calling the number.

Yeah, kids can't just have fruit. It must be injected full of white, industrialized, processed sugar. Or high-fructose corn syrup.
