The only info there was about that image:
The Cray-2 supercomputer circa 1987. Packs about all the computing power of a modern iPad.
You know what most people had in 1987? Probably a DOS system running on a 286 or 386. An iPad is would have been a supercomputer then. Also, that machine had an absurd amount of memory bandwidth for the era. That is one reason why it could probably still beat an iPad on most workloads.
