There are much better ways to cook down tomatoes, that don't involve converting the tomatoes into a tomato smoothie.

Marinara sauce.

Except I add enough garlic, olive oil, ground beef and red wine to give most people a coronary.

I like heavy sauce.

Replace beef with sausage, and yeah, that sounds like my marinara sauce.

If they aired that in Chicago it might start a riot. Ketchup on a dog is blasphemy there.

Yes, but the ThinkGeek phone actually looks like the real deal. The Nokia phones? Not so much. (though that first one looks promising if it's a complete phone by itself)

The ThinkGeek page says that the maker of this communicator based it upon 3D scans of an actual TOS prop.

One of the very first hoaxes perpetrated by the newly formed Republic Of China!
Those guys have kept it going even through regime change. They're good.

My dad worked in the city hall, and back when I was a kid, I got to see a machine very much like this in action. It was SO COOL!!

A few weeks later he brought home an ASCII portrait of John F. Kennedy printed on that perforated green and white computer paper. We'd never seen anything like it.
I worked on an 80 column card punch. I'm pretty sure it was EXACTLY that model, down to the light blue color.

I was living in one of the university dormitories. One of the quarterly rituals was for everyone who had taken these computer classes to take one night during finals week to dump out all of their computer cards (removing any that were personally identifying). It made a fine mess.
