I knew it wasn't real, but I needed to find the feet in the back to really convince me.

I got hold of a Quadlink from a friend... put it in my Compaq and it worked wonderfully about 90% of the time.

Those were interesting times, and that card was essentially an ISA form-factor Apple II. Not a trivial thing, though, as it had to translate all of the peripheral I/O while also holding the Intel processor in reset.

I love Chinese grammar. We eat fish, you ate a fish, they were eating fish, it's fish for dinner tonight--it's all the same: EAT FISH! The pronunciation is a pain though.

Spanish is even worse than Japanese with the verb conjugation.

Dumbass stunt. I saw the full video a few years ago.

I can't find the full video, but this is a Youtube clip of it. It wasn't an accident - he intentionally rode that thing down. It was Duudsonit / Dudesons - Demolition Man, but they blocked the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8pesITOZPg

EDIT: Ok, this is a compilation of their stunts which includes that one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xxUBoR46xw

I did the PC Card thing at work. It was ok. Dual, simultaneous running of both Oses. Better than software emulation.
