heh. it's OK. i laugh... our kitchen is the compilation of mismatched colors acquired by us both over 40 years.
we have no "set " of plates.. it's a mismatched bunched that actually works.
we love it.

People can't drive. If they're not texting, they've got tunnel vision and care not about their situational awareness or others on the road.

While it wouldn't have mattered from a safety standpoint, the driver of the blue car was entirely at fault. The woman was in a marked crosswalk, and at least one car had correctly stopped to allow her to cross. Jackass in the blue car not only failed to stop, but proceeded at entirely too fast a speed through the posted crosswalk. It's a shame you can't read their plate number. :squint:

not really related to that clip, but i've almost died more than once crossing the street in a right-hand-drive country ... hence the requirement to look both ways

We had a poodle when I was a kid, when we brought her in for a hair cut the stylist would put a ribbon in her hair, and paint her toenails.

Snoopy was the Lunar Module, The Command Module was Charlie Brown.
Apollo 10 did everything Apollo 11 would do, except actually landing on the Moon.

I never saw one in person, but even then I thought it was a bit ridiculous. Of course, by then I was already spoiled to using really good 17"+ CRTs, so the tiny little display on the TAM looked absurd. Of course, I never imagined I was in the market for one anyway.

(At that price point, it would have been the computer equivalent of looking at a luxury yacht)
