That's Seaside Heights. Many a summer i spent around there.

My grandfather's house is on the barrier island, on the jersey shore. It'll be quite some time before they start letting residents back in, from what we've been told.

Many of those shore communities now look a lot like this, of not worse.

Some places have been wiped completly off the map. There is a two block wide swath of land on the barrier, not far from my grandfather's home, that is simply not there any more. It's now a new inlet from the ocean to the bay. The roads are gone, the houses gone, the land itself is simply gone.

This gazebo used to be right on the boardwalk. It is now several hundred yards from the beach.

Where was the spot where that huge-ass bridge/causeway thing got wiped out? Bay St. Louis? That was nuts. Plus all the little towns that were just wiped clean as if they'd never existed.
Kinda neat to see how it worked:

It blows my mind how they can change 4 tires in 2.5-3 seconds. Hell, McLaren threw in a steering wheel change along with the tires this past weekend and still got Lewis Hamilton moving in just over 3 seconds. Pretty wild stuff.
