I'm hoping the fact that he isn't in prison garb means he was found not guilty by reason that the sick bastard needed killing?
That reminds me of a funny story from my college days. A new Thai restaurant had opened up near campus, so several of us went to try it out. I had two buddies, one who wanted his food as bland as possible, and another who wanted it as spicy as possible, that sat next to each other.
We all place our orders, and per the menu, the first guy orders his with NO stars. The second guy orders his with 5 stars, and inquires if there is anything beyond that. Well, because the waitress had poor penmanship, the cook managed to get the orders right, but the number of stars mixed up. While the second guy was complaining about how lame his meal was, and how it wasn't spicy at all, we almost missed the fact that the first guy had almost stopped breathing and turned bright red.
It all turned out fine, but damn...

If you hadn't specified "dot matrix", you would have been satisfied years ago. However, there is this:

What is that thing? And does it vibrate like a dot matrix does?

It's Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars tv show.
Someone will bring in an antique, and they cut to the confession booth where Rick says something like, "There are only three of these known in existence! The last time one came up for auction it went for Fifty Million Dollars! I gotta have it!"
Then they cut back to the counter and Rick tells the seller, "Well, I'll give you a hundred bucks for it. It's really old and I don't think anybody would really want it ..."

I thought it seemed familiar for reasons having nothing to do with movies/scifi.
I have been in a lot of contemporary Art spaces where you would see something similar.

And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

The shack once belonged to a Mr. Ted Kaczynski. It was housed by the FBI in a parking garage for some time before being turned over to a museum.

I was going to say the same thing. That's a picture I'd be embarrassed by.

I believe it's a fake, why? I used to watch a lot of CSI, so splatter pattern and stuff... probably only the smudges... are/could be real
can you bleed from playing guitar? yes
we know dave grohl broke a leg, got a cast, and got back on stage to finish the set, so yeah, he's badass
but the image says it's from "practice", so you would notice before splattering blood everywhere, so you could take 2 minutes to get a bandaid on your finger and then keep practicing
reddit says that's not even Dave's guitar, it's Pat Smears (the other guy who was in Nirvana)
but apparently the image came from the foo fighters facebook...
some website says Actually it was from stitches on his hand that opened. Or he snagged a hang nail
