aside from "he" being a she (it's ok, hard to tell with helmet and goggles I suppose)

What happened? are we in the matrix? assimilated by the borg? sneaky cyberpunk dystopia?

I remember watching olympics in the past, and the camera would focus on an athlete, and the narrator would explain how they were concentrating and visualizing their routine.

These days?

thinking about ice cream

tweeting about it while in the competition

down the hill, BOOM! Gold Medal.

I know some of those snowboarders have their phone to play music while doing their thing, and that's ok, but tweeting about wanting ice cream right before winning a gold medal? that's a whole 'nother level.

yes I'm old, and you're older :p , I don't do twitter or facebook or a "smartphone"

you may stay on my lawn and tweet about it, I don't care anymore

I used to have a dual 1.25GHz MDD G4. Loved that thing. Access for upgrades was amazing with that generation of cases, as well.

The Man of the Future (1939) - A photo of the 21st century man published in the February 1, 1939 issue of Vogue magazine.

The man of the next century will revolt against shaving and wear a beautiful beard…His hat will be an antennae - snatching radio out of the ether. His socks disposable, his suit minus tie collar and buttons.

If you hadn't specified "dot matrix", you would have been satisfied years ago. However, there is this:

Well, technically you are correct - but only because I wear men's jeans. My wife can't put my watch in her pockets...
