I now wonder Jesus's reasoning for chasing them out of the temple.
And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

'Don't Get Neil deGrasse Tyson Started on the "Super Moon"'.

BTW: the Moon was full at 15:47 UT on December 3rd, which would be around dawn Sunday morning for most of the Americas. This would mean that in the Americas the Moon appeared at its fullest during the night of December 2nd because it will not rise earlier than past 7 pm anywhere on December 3th.

When was the Moon at perigee? At 8:43 UT on December 4th. That's right: almost 3/4th a day later.

RE: supermoons--how about NEXT month? In January 2018 not only will there be TWO full Moons (so the second is a so-called "blue moon") but both might be classified as supermoons:

Full at 2:24 UT on January 2nd, perigee at 21:56 UT on January 1st, so separated by only 2.5 hours.

Full at 13:26 UT on January 31st, perigee at 9:55 UT on January 30th, so separated by 27.8 hours.

I suppose that some people will quibble about the latter being separated by more than 24 hours.

BTW: as a consequence of that late blue moon, there will be no full moon during February 2018 AND another blue moon in March 2018 (full on March 2nd and 31st, though neither will be close to the Moon's perigee date of March 26th).

From Japan (of course): a covering for electrical outlets that look like you are plugging into human nose:

Mind you: the original project was crowd-funded.

Only $48 plus $20 shipping.

I can buy a very good power strip for that price.
