I don't like the idea.

And it seems strange to go after men who would want to see Wonder Woman on the first day. It's a movie that's specifically about a powerful woman.

Like, are these guys who would want to see this movie in particular the sexist bros to focus attention on?

A females only night at a theatre would be illegal in most states, I can guarantee it would be in California and Illinois.

If you rent the theater for the screening, do you get to decide who comes in?

I thought it was local womens' groups arranging this, not the theaters.

I understand it's a one time only thing, at only one theater.

Men are in and of themselves, as a concept, offensive and irritating. Women deserve every chance they can get to be free of them (hell, other men do). And this is about solidarity...not to be a women in the eyes of men, but free just to be. Besides, it's fitting: no men in Amazon society.
Remember, people, to forgive is divine. In other words, it ain't human.

Believe me; I understand and completely agree that men are often offensive. I am one of the most pro-woman people you could ever meet. And I'm actually somewhat anti-men.

But I don't like the idea of this.
