Black men gang raping white women is a well worn racist trope.

How about gang bang? Would that be better? It still buys into a huge number of highly racist stereotypes. And considering some of the bs I have seen on Facebook, I am pretty sure you would be fine posting it.
I'm sorry Dave...

I wonder why discreet panels like this aren't more widespread already. Even on new houses the solar panels I've seen are the ugly single size tiles. The only other option I've seen that looks similar to this is on a manufactured Huf Haus.

i remember reading about similar roof tiles in wired magazine way back in the 90s ... as i recall the article said the company was ready for mas production

and then, nothing

it's the most obvious way to help the environment ... imagine if the average building can reduce its energy consumption by a third or more

Most likely is that up to very recently most solar panels were MUCH more limited in form such that certain designs HAD to be used or else there were significant losses in power generation with no or insignificant aesthetic improvements and/or much higher costs to make "pretty" panels.

The perovskite solar cells are a true revolutionary tech. I expect most nations to go solar quickly now.

Also roofs aren't necessarily positioned optimally for solar. An array can be angled as needed.

But apparently those solar panels from Solar City make THAT much less of a requirement.
