This story is so full full of human waste. The dude they quote, LA Marzulli, is the author of several books in the "ancient aliens" genre, not a geneticist, paleontologist, anthropologist, or biologist.
It reminds me of those "scientists say octopuses have alien DNA" articles from a few weeks back. No scientist said that.

Yeah, it was pretty questionable. However, they had a picture of cool looking skulls, and this IS the random image thread...
Cranial deformation has been practiced in ancient times by several cultures. The one most people will remember are the Maya in Central America.
