Yeah, but... from McDonalds? Pass.

Eh, Mcdonalds deserves a lot of human waste, but their fries are good.

I wouldn't expect them to be healthy, and it's probably been more than a decade since I ate any, but I do remember their fries tasting good.

I honestly have a hard time believing this isn't some sort of prank, or one of those things that we'll find out in a week or two was horribly misconstrued.

They're fishermen - they pull garbage out of the water all the time. I'm really supposed to think they'd never seen a mannequin before?

It was explained in the linked article: they were in a remote village with no Internet access. Entirely possible that no one in the village had ever seen a mannequin.

On the other hand even here on this very forum we have some people arguing against LGBTQ rights by making stupid and completely unwarranted claims against them, so who are WE to judge, hmm?

it's utterly horrible ... people moved there from across the country to find work, and between the oil crash and this, they're probably all ruined

i wonder what state the oil infrastructure is in?

maybe if liberals were religious fundamentalists they'd be calling this divine retribution for raping the planet ... just to kick people while they're down

burn enjoyed 100% reliability, so no

although ... you know, only one launch

still i think the soviet design was arguably superior ... it was much more simple, could fly unmanned (quite an accomplishment for the 80s), and the booster could serve as its own heavy-lift vehicle

Actually the Buran did get into an unmanned orbit in 1988. It was successfully remotely landed after 2 orbits.
