"Horizontal Icicles:

Image

The picture was taken on March 23, 2016, near Fort Collins, CO. There was a strong and persistent wind, and the temperatures happened to be hovering just below freezing during formation. Note that these icicles do not emerge from the holes in this sign post but had formed along one edge of the holes.

Surprised you didn't go for the Land Camera.

Same here! I'm actually just now getting used to how far my car can go with the warning.

I am a fill up every week currently, but that will change after this week.

When you only have to drive 50 miles a week, you do not have to fill up quite so often.

My commute is 450 miles a week, and that's just for work. That doesn't include shopping and visiting etc.

I hope i didn't miss someone else, like Kirk, posted this. One snake got into a homes electrical box and bit wires and was electrocuted. A second snake tried to eat the first snake and the first snake was still charged. Both electrocuted and found by workers getting ready to demolish the house.

3 people rescued from remote island in Pacific after their "HELP" was spotted by searching US Navy plane:

Image

They were stranded for 3 days after a large wave capsized their boat and they swam about 2 miles to this island. From appearances on Google Maps, this island is about 1500 feet by 1000 feet on the western edge of the atoll shown on the linked map.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I usually fill up when I get around 1/3rd of a tank remaining.

Both of my cars are just under 1/2 a tank, at the moment:
